Naperville Area Crop Hunger Walk

           WALKER INSTRUCTIONS – NAPERVILLE AREA CROP WALK – OCTOBER 14, 2018

 

             Where to Go:

Walk Location – Grace United Methodist Church, 300 East Gartner Road, Naperville
Park in one of the two upper lots on the East side of the Church, then walk around bldg.
Rally will be held outdoors in the lower level parking lot (nearest to the river)
Registration will take place in the Fellowship Hall – enter through Door #4 on lower level

 

 

            Other Details:

Walkers who raise $50 will receive a T-Shirt. They can also be purchased for $5 each.
A limited number of T-Shirts from previous Walks will be available free of charge.
Both 5K and 1K Routes will be offered. Those wanting a 10K should do the 5K twice.
Please bring your own re-usable water container to the Walk. They can be re-filled inside the church, if needed.
Dogs are welcome on the Walk, but should be on a leash and must remain outside.

 

Schedule:

12:30 – 1:00   Registration in Grace Fellowship Hall

  1:15 – 1:30    Rally in Lower Level Parking Lot

   1:30    Walk Kicks Off

    2:30 – 3:00    Letter Signing/Walk Concludes
   

    2:30 Pack a meal for Loaves and Fishes
 

             IMPORTANT REMINDER:

 We kindly ask every adult attending to PLEASE take a few minutes after the Walk to sign a letter in support of hunger issues that will be addressed to Illinois State Senators. Our letters are more important than ever this year as Congress is considering deep cuts to programs that assist the poor and needy.
